Connecting with the community
Our pupils regularly take part in local events, helping them understand the value of giving back and feeling part of something bigger. From singing Christmas carols at the local care home to contributing to the village Christmas Tree Festival, we love sharing the children’s talents and enthusiasm in the community.
School and community events
We believe that bringing people together creates lasting memories. Each year we host much-loved events such as our school fête and Macmillan Coffee Morning, which bring families, friends and neighbours together to celebrate, raise funds and enjoy each other’s company.
Working with our PTA
Our PTA – the Friends of Brockton School – plays a vital role in school life. They organise events, raise funds for extra resources and help us provide the very best opportunities for every child. Their toddler group, Little Minnows, is a wonderful way for families with younger children to connect and get to know the school before starting Reception.
