Pupil Premium is additional funding our school receives to support specific groups of children who may need additional help to achieve their best. It is usually available for:
- children from low-income families who are eligible for free school meals (or have been in the past 6 years)
- children who have been looked after for at least one day,
- children from Service families
- children who are adopted.

How do we use Pupil Premium funding
It is for schools to decide how best to use Pupil Premium funding. To ensure we are using the funding effectively and for the benefit of those pupils who attract this additional support, we are required to publish annual reports on the amount of funding received, how it has been used, and the impact it is has had.
The Executive Headteacher and the Governing Body monitor the impact of all spending and interventions, including the Pupil Premium.
