At Brockton, we believe that children’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their academic learning.
Emotional literacy support helps children to understand and manage their feelings, develop resilience, and build positive relationships. We know that when children feel safe, understood, and confident, they are ready to learn and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
We are proud to have a qualified Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (Mrs Andrea Wright) who works with our children individually or in small groups to help them explore their emotions, develop problem-solving skills, and grow in confidence. Whether it’s managing worries, coping with change, or learning how to work well with others, our emotional literacy support is here to give every child the tools they need to flourish.
